Tare: Ingredient Converter (the "App") is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, track, sell, or share personal data. This policy explains what the App does and does not do with your information.

Scope

This policy applies to the iOS and iPadOS app distributed through the Apple App Store. It does not cover third-party websites you may visit from external links.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store on our servers any of the following:

* Personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number.

* Contact lists, calendars, location data, health data, or financial information.

* Photos, camera, microphone input, or user files.

* Usage analytics, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.

* Sensitive personal data of any kind.

On-Device Processing and Storage

All app features run locally on your device. Examples of data stored only on your device include conversion inputs and results, saved recipes, notes, favorites, and app preferences. This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself, such as through the iOS Share Sheet.

Deletion note. Deleting the app deletes this locally stored data.

No Tracking and No Third-Party SDKs

* We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers.

* We do not track you across apps or websites.

Device Features We Use

Local Notifications

Notifications are used only to alert you when a timer finishes. They are scheduled on-device after you grant permission.

Clipboard (Write Only)

When you copy results or text, the App writes to your system pasteboard at your request. The App does not read from the clipboard.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because we do not collect data, parental consent is not required.

International Users (GDPR and UK GDPR)

We do not process or transfer personal data. If you believe the App has inadvertently received personal data, contact us and we will assist with deletion to the extent applicable.

California Privacy (CCPA and CPRA)

We do not collect personal information, do not sell or share personal information, and do not use personal information for targeted advertising.

Security

Your data remains on your device. Protect access to your device with a passcode and keep your operating system up to date.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted in an app update and reflected by the effective date above.
